Information we use
When you sign in, we receive account information from your sign-in provider, such as your name, email address, account identifier and profile photo. We also use information you provide, including your phone number, saved addresses, orders, wishlist, cart, reviews and support messages.
Order records may include purchased products, amounts, coupons, payment status and transaction references, shipment details and delivery updates. Referral records include referral codes, link activity, attributed orders and reward transactions. Technical logs may contain information needed to operate and secure the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to maintain your account, process and deliver orders, show tracking, manage wallet and referral activity, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where consent is required by law, we will seek it. We do not need your password, card PIN or one-time password to handle a support request.
Service providers & disclosure
Information needed to provide the service may be processed by providers of sign-in, hosting, data storage, payments and delivery services. Couriers receive the contact and address information needed for delivery; payment providers process payments under their own privacy terms.
We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security threats, or to protect lawful rights. We do not display your private order, address or payment details to other customers through referral statistics.
Payment information & courier sharing
Razorpay processes payment instrument information in its checkout. HutkeBuy uses payment amounts, order identifiers, transaction references and verified payment status to reconcile purchases; you must not send card credentials, payment PINs or OTPs to us. Private payment credentials are not made available to customers.
Delivery providers, including Shiprocket and the assigned courier where used, receive information needed for fulfilment, such as your name, phone number, delivery address and order details. Their processing is also governed by their applicable privacy terms. Service providers may process data in locations outside your state or country, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Cookies & browser storage
HutkeBuy uses browser storage to maintain sign-in and preserve referral attribution during browsing. Essential cookies or storage used by sign-in and payment providers may also be involved. Clearing storage or blocking it may affect sign-in and referral attribution.
Retention & security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal, accounting or recordkeeping requirements. Some order or payment records may need to be retained even after an account-related request.
We use access controls and other safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in account secure and report suspected misuse.
Your privacy requests
You can update your name, phone number and saved addresses from your profile. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy complaint, email hutkebuy@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Requests are handled subject to applicable law and necessary record retention. Changes to this policy will be published here; questions or privacy concerns can be sent to the same support email.
Children, public content & privacy concerns
The store is intended for people legally able to make purchases; a parent or guardian should place an order where necessary. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children in a manner prohibited by applicable law. Contact us if a child's information needs attention.
Approved reviews may publicly display the reviewer's display name, rating and submitted content. Avoid including addresses, contact numbers, payment information or other sensitive details in reviews or media. Send privacy and data-security concerns to our official support email using only the information needed to investigate.
